2014 Wrap Up

Happy New Year everyone! I hope you have enjoyed your holidays and your break from school or work.

This was another year of movies/television for me. I saw 120+ movies again and 15+ were in theaters. Some of the shows I obsessed over: Criminal Minds, Game of Thrones, Orange is the New Black, Degrassi, Psycho Pass, How I met your mother, Vikings, and others.

Make up isn’t something I was obsessed with as much this year. I still take care of my skin and wear makeup but it wasn’t an obsession. As far as hair care my favorite product over all is still the wet brush.

I still use and love my Clarisonic Aria. I now use the acne brush head and so far I am liking it. I have been using bath salts more often this year compared to previous years. My favorite moisturizer is the Clinique moisture surge gel moisturizer. My favorite way to take off my make up is to use my Ponds Cold Cream Cleanser and my Estee Lauder gentle eye makeup remover. My favorite product for taking care of my scars is my Palmer’s cocoa butter formula, the original in the tub. I have used this for years and I believe it has made a difference in the feel and look of my scars. Gold bond has been the brand I use for lotions this year.

Scents and smelling good are a weakness for me. This year I discovered new fragrances. I have been alternating between Vanilla Bean Noel and Pink Chiffon body sprays from Bath and Body Works. The perfumes I have been using have been the Crabtree and Evelyn Evelyn Rose scent and the Pink Sugar perfume.

2014 was a year of nails. I have painted my nails myself more this year than any year before. I look forward to trying to things with my nails in 2015.

Books! Forever one of my favorite loves. I completed 38 books this year out of my goal of 20. Many of these books were for school and are children’s literature. I’m hoping next year will be more adult, and less young adult. I am hoping to be more eclectic in my reading.

Crafting wise – this was an okay year. I have been writing to pen pals, and learning how to knit. I’m hoping to complete more projects in 2015.

So to wrap everything up – I plan on doing a few new things this year.

Here are some of the things I want to accomplish in 2015.

  • Journaling
  • Blogging more…
  • Monthly movie posts on the blog
  • Decorating my dorm cork board
  • Losing weight and eating healthier
  • Trying different teas
  • Baking and Cooking
  • Writing more Snail Mail
  • Knitting (scarfs and blankets)

How was 2014 for you? Any resolutions? Let me know in the comments.

Happy New Year!
